I, like so many women, was caught up in a whirlwind of busyness, until a few unexpected detours forced me to slow down.
On the outside things looked great, but between you and me I was wearing myself OUT!
Every day, I was running a marathon, trying to keep up with my vision of the woman I thought I needed to be, but I was slowly losing myself in the process. (Sound familiar?)
just as I was slipping into a seriously low point,
I started noticing little reminders of my passion for art and design (today, I call those gentle nudges from God). Eventually, I found myself sitting at my desk for hours creating illustrations of women who were simply enjoying the moment -- something I'd clearly forgotten how to do.
I started sharing illustrations online and ...
to my surprise, interest quickly grew and order requests started flying in.
This was the start of Cheriss & Company … and the beginning of my slower, richer, far-from-perfect, yet genuinely fulfilling life.

A business owner, corporate girl, product designer ... daughter, sister, auntie, cousin, friend, eventual wife, future mommy -- and I'm finally learning to find genuine joy while juggling it all.
